Patrick Tipton, M.Sc, E.I.T.
Patrick is currently working as an Associate Fire Protection Engineer for Waxler Fire Protection Engineering. Patrick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1998. The focus of this coursework was power distribution and control systems.
In 2011, as a member of the 1990 and 1992 cross-country teams, Patrick received his induction into the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology Athletic Hall of Fame.
In 2012, Patrick received a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Patrick has 8 years of experience in the fire protection industry. Patrick passed his fundamentals of engineering exam in 1995 and holds the status of E.I.T. in South Dakota and Texas. Patrick plans on taking the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) Exam and working through the requirements for the licensure.
