Natasha Albracht is an Associate Fire Protection Engineer for Waxler Fire Protection Engineering. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 2011 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics. She has 12 years of experience with 9 of those years dedicated to standard and non-standard fire testing, fire-related research projects, calorimetry, smoke toxicity analysis, mechanical design work for both government and commercial clients, project management, and estimating.
During her academic career, she obtained a certification as a Green Belt in Six Sigma while working at an internship. She has experience with SolidWorks and Technical Writing. She is an active member of the Texas Fire Protection Association (TFPA) and was President of the chapter from 2022-2023.
At WFPE, she assists with HAZMAT evaluations, commodity letters, fire system plan reviews, water supply analyses, hydrant flow tests, site inspections, and drafting of technical reports. Natasha plans on taking the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam in fire protection and looks forward to growing in the field of Fire Protection Engineering with WFPE.
